This is a very nice little buckling that we just couldn’t help but retain. His dam Star is one of the nicest does in our herd, and we had been wanting a buckling out of her for a while. Neptune, has matured into a long and level buck with great general appearance. Like his dam, he has a nice strong head, and smooth blending of the neck and shoulders. We are very happy with his width and length of body. Nick combines some very nice Algedi and Castle Rock lines that bring high milk production and show potential! Nick’s offspring have looked very promising so far and we are excited to see more of his daughters freshen!

Nick was listed for sale several years ago since I wasn’t able to use him much. Once I saw how nice his daughter Velvet was looking I decided to hold onto him and I am SO glad I did. Velvet became our first home bred finished Champion in 2023 and I look forward to seeing what Nick’s influence does in our herd!
