This may possibly be my favorite doe born in our herd! She is my last Avalon daughter and I think she is just stunning!
Cleo has inherited her dam’s fussy and demanding personality way more than I thought was possible… But my goodness she is pretty! I see so many similarities between Avalon and Cleo it’s crazy! At her first show Cleo won her classes in both rings and then went on to win Reserve GCH! She is very smoothly blended, has good length and width of body, and overall excels in dairy strength. At her second show she earned her Jr. GCH leg and was also Best Doe in Show!
Cleo freshened with a single doe in 2023 and unfortunately I was not able to keep her udder even during those first couple weeks. She is slightly lopsided as a result. She has good teat size and texture and is very easy to milk. Her udder had decent capacity despite raising a single.
Cleo has really come into her own as a second freshener. She has excellent depth of body and great udder capacity. Unfortunately due to a faded tattoo she was never shown as a 3 year old.
