This lovely girl is incredibly similar to her dam in every way! We are so excited to watch this doe as she matures!
Champagne is an identical replica of her dam in every way, even her personality! I believe that someday they will be difficult to tell apart from a distance! Champagne inherited her dam’s correct feet and legs, shoulder assembly, and overall correct general appearance. Her sire, Mozart, excels in body capacity and dairy strength and Champagne has definitely inherited many good characteristics from him. I look forward to seeing her first freshening udder! Both Rochelle and Mo’s dam Allegro earned E’s in mammary and I have no doubts that Champagne will follow suit.
2020 Update: Champagne really wowed us with her first freshening udder! Beautiful shape and structure and good teat size and texture. I am happy to see that Mozart improved on Rochelle’s teat size because her’s are a tad small for my liking (if I’m being critical). We were very bummed that our 2020 linear appraisal was canceled because I really wanted to see Champagne’s score!
