Helen’s dam was the ever spunky Algedi Farm MH Avalon – one of the last does still producing carrying the Algedi herd name! Avalon never showed her age and almost became a finished champion before 2020 hit. If you want genetics that withstand the test of time Helen is your girl! Her sire’s dam is GCH Alethia DJ Starry Night 1*M VEEE 90. She earned that 90 at 12 years old!
Helen’s dam Avalon was one of the last producing animals from the Algedi herd name! Even in her old age she looked spry and healthy as ever! Her udder showed no signs of wear and tear nor did her solid feet and legs. She earned her EEVE 90 as a 9 year old! Truly a doe that I would want to clone in our herd.
Helen’s sire’s dam is our beautiful Starry Night- another doe that seems to get better with age. She earned her VEEE 90 as a 12 year old! Poppy Patch Honey Ima Hottie earned his VEE 89 as a 9 year old too!

Helen was sold to some friends of ours who ended up needing to rehome her and her buddy Walsh Kids N Kalani. We welcomed them both back February 2025! I ended up with only one Avalon daughter so bring Helen back was a no brainer 🙂 She is long and level and a style of doe that I really admire. She has strong feet and legs and is a great mother. She is on milk test and will hopefully get shown and appraised this summer! Udder pics below are fuzzy and with a regular 12 hour fill. I usually only post fancy clipped udders but wanted a placeholder until I can get to that!
