Also known as Freckles around here, this doe just keeps getting more lovely as she matures! Her dam Irish Melody graced us with quads this year and I am retaining three of them! Irish Melody’s udder is everything we want to see in our breeding program. Capacious, productive, and very correct structurally. Her teat size is ideal for ease of milking and she milks down very well. We were very disappointed when Linear Appraisal was cancelled for 2020 because this doe deserves a higher score on her papers!
Freckle’s sire, Prophesy, produced a very nice kid crop for us in 2020. His kids have been showing excellent length and width of body, paired with an overall smoothness of blending that I am very happy with!
